David will be raising as much money as possible right thought his year in office for this very important Charity. A fabulous turnout of 60 players competed in the Stuart Hare Trophy, Wednesday 30th July.
The competition was an individual Stableford played from the yellow tees. The Trophy was won by Barry Wall with a fine score of 41pts (5 under par). Well played Barry. Special mention to club legend Stuart who attended on the day on his holiday over from Australia and kindly bought every player a sandwich half way round with coffee's included and also sponsored the nearest pin prizes.

52 Players took part in the Seniors Championshjp played on Sunday 20th July. It was certainly an advantage for the early starters before the heavy rains came in the afternoon.

54 players took part in the June Medal played Saturday 7th June. The dry conditions allowing plenty of run on the ball aiding some quality low scoring. Indeed, 17 players in the field recorded scores in the 60's. The winning score came in division 3 from Laurie Burdon returning a fantastic Gross score of 89 playing off 29 Handicap for a remarkable net 60.
Congratulations Laurie, well played sir.

We held the Captain's Charity Day on Sunday 11th May in beautiful, sunny conditions raising money for the Captain's Charity "Cancer Research UK". 60 Players took part in a best 2 from 4 Stableford format.
The day was won by our ladies team of Victoria Moulton, Michelle Burch, Julie Copley and Mandy Liddell with a superb score of 19 under par, 91 Stableford points with a  winning margin of 7 points. Congratulations ladies on your win.
A raffle was hosted and a guess the Captains Drive Competition was won by Mark Taylor with the correct guess of 224 yards. A magnificent drive David King.
The day raised a total of £540 for Cancer Research UK.

We saw a healthy turnout of 67 players taking part in the May Medal played Saturday 3rd May.
Wayne Whitley came home with the best Net card of the day scoring a Gross 90 off 26 handicap for a Net 64. Congratulations Wayne on winning the May Medal.
